We started The Policy Lab at Brown University to break down the real and imagined walls between researchers, policymakers, and the people we serve. Our teams of data scientists, designers, economists, and engineers work directly with state and local governments on efforts across education, employment, public safety, and public health.

Target took a risk and decided to forgo the print version of their 2012 wedding catalog for a full-featured digital version. The result? Six months of late nights, three photoshoots, and 550 QA tickets followed by a new interaction model for digital catalogs, a Webby nomination for best shopping website, a Communication Arts pick of the day, and one of the most laid-back shopping experiences you'll find online.
